Festival des cinémas différents et expérimentaux

Very happy to be participating in the Festival des cinémas différents et expérimentaux. Les Voutes is on 19 Rue des Frigos, 75013 Paris, France (Gare d’Austerlitz – Bibliothèque nationale de France F. Mitterrand – 13e Arrondissement) . It is a most amazing and mesmerizing place carved out from under the overpass.

Les Voutes history is linked to that of  Frigos (‘The Refrigerator’) which was a former storage depot for refrigerated railway wagons. Once the facility had been shut down it wasn’t long before destitute artists began to squat inside. By 1996, they’d also colonised its underground vaults. Today, Les Voûtes is fully integrated to the Paris art scene with concerts, exhibitions,  artistic happenings and Le Festival des cinémas différents et expérimentaux.
