I am thinking about the idea of shedding light on something as a means to disguise it, to hide it, to distort it instead of illuminating it, or making it clear. There is a lot of mischief in these pieces. The objects and my body act a little like children, who in their games of hide-and-seek have a great capacity to blend in with their environment. Through this process of interaction, I disrupt the form and shape of my body. I seek to make it unrecognizable in its environment and blended into the scene, By doing so, I consider the fact that although light acts as a reveal, it also distorts, and reshapes, disguises form and participates in a sort of blending and camouflage of bodies.
