I actively scavenge high and low culture and  have this passion for objects. Consumer goods like hair pieces, artificial flowers, knick-knacks,  appear both as props and actors in my photos. I take them out of context, out of their original function, and repurpose, redisplay them with my body as I look for new meanings and relationships in the stuff that we consume and desire.

Insincere Objects is a project I developed during my residency at EastSide International in Los Angeles, August 2015.
