Artist in residence Wilmington, North Carolina

A warm thank you to Dan Brawley, director of Cucalorus, and Canadian performance artist Thea Fitz-James for co-curating this most engaging artist residency titled “Deep Play”.

“Deep Play” brought together videographers Noam Sharon and Tal Resenthal from Tel Aviv and myself in historic Wilmington, North Carolina, USA to work and share in the dog days of Summer.

Living in the beautiful Fox-Holden historical house which is owned by Cucalorus provides many insights into American history. This residency is more than studio time, it also is a time for traditional sea food, as well as storms, the North Carolina beach, the song of the cicadas and meeting many local artists and writers.
